Temblor is a Bakersfield-based brewery that continuously strives to do good for its community. When their ambitious team developed the idea for a small batch of specialty beer, they reached out to Six23 Media for branding advice.

Temblor came to the Six23 Media team with the idea of an oak wine barrel-aged beer, and we came back to them with the name Quercus––the scientific term for oak. Quercus has since evolved across four iterations, carrying the same name. From Quercus, we helped the Temblor team develop the design for their sour beer, “Wild Ale” and  “Cadre”. Since then some of our new designs include Brett Saison, Flanders Red, Plum Farmhouse, and the Reservior series.
